• Educate yourself and others: Learn about common scams and how to identify them. Sharing this knowledge with friends and family can help protect them from becoming victims. Numerous resources are available online from reputable organizations dedicated to consumer protection.

• Secure your accounts: Review your financial accounts and personal information to ensure no unauthorized access has occurred. Change your passwords and implement strong security measures to prevent future scams.

Remember, seeking revenge or trying to outsmart a scammer rarely works and puts you at significant risk. Focus on protecting yourself and others, and reporting the incident to the appropriate authorities.
